-
Issuance of Astro Cash
Astro Cash will be issued at the sole discretion of Maskyeti in the following situations:-
2.1. Returns (Issued as Gold Cash):
- For eligible returns within 7 days, Gold Cash equal to the value of the returned item will be issued instead of refunding to the original payment method.
- If the item is defective/damaged, full Gold Cash will be issued after successful processing.
- Partial returns receive partial Gold Cash.
- 2.2. Exchanges: If a customer exchanges a product for a lower-priced item, the difference may be issued as Gold Cash or Silver Cash at Maskyeti's discretion.
- 2.3. Prepaid RTO (Return to Origin): For prepaid orders returned due to non-delivery, Gold Cash for the order value (minus any shipping deductions) will be issued to the customer's account approximately 7 days after the RTO is initiated.
- 2.4. Promotional & Cashback (Silver Cash): Maskyeti may issue Silver Cash as part of marketing campaigns or cashback flows. Unless stated otherwise for a specific campaign, cashback Silver Cash is credited to your wallet immediately upon order confirmation at the time of purchase. Cashback Silver Cash is valid only on Prepaid Orders; orders placed via Cash on Delivery (COD) or Partial COD are not eligible.
- 2.5. Upcoming/Locked Balances: Certain cashback rewards may be issued as "Upcoming." These funds are locked and cannot be used until they mature into Silver Cash on the specified unlocking date. Once unlocked, they are subject to standard Silver Cash expiry rules.
-
2.1. Returns (Issued as Gold Cash):
-
Using Your Astro Cash (Redemption Logic)
-
3.1. Usage Limits:
- Gold Cash: Can be used up to 100% of the order value.
- Silver Cash: Can be used up to 25% of the order value. Silver Cash cannot be applied on COD or Partial COD orders.
- Example: If your Order Value is ₹500 and you have ₹500 in Silver Cash, you can only utilise ₹125 (25%). If your Order Value is ₹2,000 and you have ₹1,000 in Silver Cash, you can utilise ₹500 (25% of ₹2,000).
-
3.2. Stacking & Priority: When applying Astro Cash, the system will automatically calculate the maximum usable amount based on the following priority:
- Silver Cash Priority: Usable Silver Cash (up to 25% of the order value) is applied first.
- Gold Cash Secondary: If the order total is not yet fully paid, Gold Cash is applied next (up to 100% of the remaining balance).
- Balance Payment: Any remaining amount exceeding the usable Astro Cash must be paid using another accepted payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, UPI).
Example: For an order of ₹500, if you have ₹500 Silver and ₹100 Gold: The system uses ₹125 Silver (25% cap) + ₹100 Gold. You pay the remaining ₹275.
- 3.3. Deduction Hierarchy (Expiry Stacking): When Silver Cash is utilised, the system deducts credit based on the nearest expiry date first. (Example: If you have ₹100 expiring in 1 day and ₹100 expiring in 5 days, and you use ₹100 for an order, the credit expiring in 1 day will be deducted first).
- 3.4. Application: Astro Cash logic is applied to the final cart value. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Astro Cash may not be combined with specific external discount coupons.
-
3.1. Usage Limits:
-
Expiration of Astro Cash
- 4.1. Gold Cash: Gold Cash does not have an expiration date and is valid indefinitely.
- 4.2. Silver Cash: Unless specified otherwise during a specific campaign, Silver Cash expires 30 days from the date of issuance (or 30 days from the date of unlocking for "Upcoming" balances).
- 4.3. Expiration Notifications: We will attempt to notify the customer via email/SMS/App notifications prior to the expiration of Silver Cash. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor their account.
- 4.4. Credit from Cancelled/Refunded Orders: If an order paid for using Astro Cash is cancelled or returned, the amount will be refunded back to the respective balances (Gold to Gold, Silver to Silver) with their original or extended validity at Maskyeti's discretion.
-
Cashback Cancellations, Returns & Refund Adjustments
-
5.1. Cashback Adjustment on Cancellation or Return: If you cancel or return an order for which promotional cashback (Silver Cash) was issued, the cashback amount will be reversed from your wallet. If the cashback has already been partially or fully used on other orders, the used amount will be deducted from your refund.
Refund Formula: Refund = Order Amount Paid − Cashback Already Used on Other Orders (minimum ₹0, never negative)
Example: You received ₹1,000 cashback from Order A and used ₹600 on Order B. If Order A is cancelled, your refund = ₹1,000 − ₹600 = ₹400. -
5.2. Partial Returns: If only some items from the cashback order are returned, the cashback adjustment is proportional to the returned value relative to the total order value.
Example: Order A was ₹2,000 with ₹1,000 cashback. You return items worth ₹1,000 (50% of order). Proportional cashback adjusted = 50% × ₹1,000 = ₹500. This amount will be deducted from your refund or reversed from your wallet. - 5.3. Seller/Platform Fault Exemption: If the cancellation or return is caused by the seller (e.g., out of stock, wrong item shipped) or courier (e.g., lost, damaged, failed delivery), no cashback adjustment will apply. You will receive a full refund.
- 5.4. Customer-Refused Delivery: If you refuse delivery of an order for which cashback was issued, the refund will be subject to cashback adjustment as per Section 5.1.
- 5.5. Unused Cashback Reversal: Any unused cashback remaining in your wallet will be automatically reversed upon cancellation or return of the qualifying order.
-
5.1. Cashback Adjustment on Cancellation or Return: If you cancel or return an order for which promotional cashback (Silver Cash) was issued, the cashback amount will be reversed from your wallet. If the cashback has already been partially or fully used on other orders, the used amount will be deducted from your refund.
